Willie Shain-Ross

Willie Shain-Ross is a recent graduate of Regent College, where he got his Master of Divinity in 2021. Willie moved to Vancouver in 2017 from Berkeley, California, where he lived for seven years working with non-profits, universities, and recruiting agencies. While at Regent he met Kathy and they married in December 2018.

Willie is now working with Ekklesia and is also a curate at St. John’s. He is on the track towards ordination and is excited to start his ministry career.

Kathy Shain-Ross

Kathy has been a member of St. John’s since she was in highschool, and was involved in some of the earliest years of Ekklesia. Kathy was a teacher for several years before joining St. John’s Youth Ministry staff in 2020. She has an MA in Theology from Regent College and loves helping others to understand and engage scripture more deeply, especially mentoring young people to walk more closely with Jesus and develop their faith and their gifts. 

Kathy works in the youth ministry as well as on the Ekklesia team, and is excited to see God at work in the lives of young people.
